It is Cristmas but in order to be ready for the next best thing...start preparing your sales strategy!
- Set your goals!
- Check your stock!
- Prepare the promotion material...stickers, signs, flyers publicity etc!
Ideas:
1. If you have stock from previous seasons organise a scale of sales: F.E. 30% Winter Collection, 40% Previous Collections, Buy one Get one FREE for old stock or choose some stock products as a gift with purchase with sales over ...Euros.
2. One week before sales invite your best customers to make their pre-sales reservations.
You can send them an sms or send them a newsletter or e-mail!
3. Find a "theme" for your sales...f.e. Snow-sales, Goodbye Winter Sales, Happy Sales!
4. Design the promotional material with an eye-catching way according to your brand image.
f.e. Clear all the products from your windows, place big stickers or posters and shopping bags with the percentages of sales on them!
The shopping bags are a very good advertising on the street.
5. You also need flyers o advertising on local media (outdoor. newspaper, local web-sites, radio)
6. Save the best for last! During the last week:
a. Increase the sales persentage as much as possible
b. Display some new Collection products in the shop.
c. Offer a Gift check (small amount) for after sales season, inviting your customers to buy the new collection products.
